Foresite Software LLC
A domain name is the name your clients will use to find you on the Internet, and it can be used as part of your e-mail address. A domain name is something that, once registered, belongs to you. That means that even if you change hosting providers, your ISP (Internet Service Providers), move to another state or country, whatever -- you can keep your domain name so long as you keep the registration up to date when it comes up for renewal.

A domain name that expires will prevent others from seeing your website or sending you e-mail, so it is vitally important that the registration is kept current.

There are many places on the Internet where you can register a domain name. Some are less expensive that what we charge, and we are often asked why.

The answer becomes apparent at renewal. Often a client will get misleading solitations from all sorts of companies claiming the domain is up for renewal, and instructions for how to do so. More often than not these notices result in a client's domain being transferred away from the original registrar, and they loose administrative authority for the domain. When this happens it is a complicated, time-consuming, and expensive process for getting the domain back.

Foresite's domain registration service makes it easy. Simply ignore all domain renewal notices except those that come from us! We use the phone to contact you so that you really know you are dealing with Foresite and not an imposter.

We also make sure the information associated with your domain name is correct and up-to-date. Plus, administrative messages are sent to us, which ensures that important notices are handled correctly and in a timely manner, to avoid your website or e-mail being down.
